St Josse

St Josse is a detached fermette style house in the pretty village of St Josse, in the Nord Pas de Calais regions of France. Close to Le Touquet. It provides comfortable self catering holiday accommodation in a traditional French style. It has a large garden and is ideal for families or groups. The excellent (Michelin Listed) Le Relias de Saint Josse restaurant is 2 minutes walk from the house.

Location.

Just 2½ miles from the fine sandy beaches of Merlimont Plage.Under 4 miles to Le Touquet, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere and trendy shops. The fishing port of Etalpes (3 miles) has renowned fish restaurants. Montreuil (6 miles) is an ancient walled town, from where you can drive through the pretty valley of the Canche to Hesdin, with its lively markets and old central square. Boulogne (20 miles) has numerous attractions such as the Nusicaa and the Cathedral.

A large traditional style dining table provides good seating for 6 people. Two semi circular tables used in the kitchen may easily be added to this main table for diners of 10 or more.

Entertainment:

TV/Video/Radio with English channels. Satellite TV via Astra provides many TV channels including BBC1,2. ITV1,2 C4 and five plus many others.. Fiction, reference and children’s books + table games + children’s videos.

Fitted equipped kitchen with utility room adjacent containing a secondary fridge/freezer for larger parties. Seating available for 4 people. Gas hob with electric oven, microwave, coffee machine, extractor, dishwasher, microwave Crockery and utensils.

Traditionally furnished with polished wooden floor. Double sleigh bed with large wardrobe, electric heater and wall lights. Window overlooks the front garden

Corner bath unit with shower, additional semi circular shower cubicle within the bathroom, double wash basin, with mirrors and power socket for hairdryer/shaver.

Double cast iron white sleigh bed with matching chairs and decor. Large fitted built in wardrobes, wall mounted electric heater. Window overlooks front garden.

Bedroom 5

Two single modern style beds, bedside unit/ light. Chairs large wardrobe and shelves, electric wall heater, wooden floor. Please note currently this bedroom has no window although it is planned for one to be fitted by summer 2005

Bathroom 2

Large bathroom with shower and WC. Vanity unit with lights, shaver socket & mirror.

Accessible from the lounge or kitchen doors is a large area with numerous plants and shrubs. Garden is mostly laid to lawn with large patio area and BBQ. Children’s swing, and slide.
