| LD Lines – Dover to Boulogne -No longer Operating. LD Lines Statement “As a result of financial considerations and reduced passenger numbers, we regret to inform you that passenger services between Dover and Boulogne will close on 5th September, 2010.”LD Lines launched its Dover Boulogne ferry route to France in February 2009. Filling the gap in the market left by the failed discount opertor Speedferries. The Norman Spirit operates the route with a crossing time of just 1h45. The Norman Spirit has capacity for 1850 passengers, 700 cars and 110 freight vehicles. LD Lines’ service now operates into Boulogne’s new Hub Port terminal, whose new port facilities and infrastructure will also provide increased freight and tourist traffic capacity which the conventional ferry,Norman Spirit, is able to carry. On board you’ll find restaurants, cafeterias and a pub. There is ample comfortable seating and a friendly atmosphere in the three exclusive lounges. You’ll also find kids’ areas, internet access, a games room/ arcade, private cabins and opportunities for shopping on board. | ||

P & O Ferries - Travelling from Dover to Calais is simple and convenient – up to 46 sailings a day, with a journey time of 90 minutes. Flexible tickets allow you to choose a convenient travel time.
Sea France - Travelling from Dover to Calais Sea France operate up to 30 sailings a day across some very modern ships. The Molière introduced in 2008 was the first Dover Calais ferry to exceed 200 metres in length. Flexible tickets available with a journey time of 90 minutes.
Dover Ferry Terminal. The Dover ferry terminal is approximately 1 mile from Dover town centre and is easily accessible from both the M2 and M20 motorways. As you arrive in Dover follow the local signs for the ferry terminal. On entering the port, keep to the left, joining the ‘Vehicles with Reservations’ lane to the check-in booths. P & O, Sea France & LD Lines all operate from the Dover ferry terminal.
Fly to Le Touquet Alternatively if you are travelling for a shorter period then it can be good fun to fly to Le Touquet. Flights to Le Touquet are available from LyddAir who fly from Lydd airport near Ashford in Kent.
Euroexec.com. also run regular charter flights to Le Touquet. Alternatively if traveling to France via Eurotunnel then our villas are also about a 50 minute drive.
